Lie in Deathworld - Update 1

My first ever crime thriller, which is looking for an agent, is now on hold of agent hunting. I ran it through pro writing aid and noticed a few fuck ups, that I kept missing. So, I hunted for an editor. Most are way out of my COVID-19 affected wallet. Luckily, I stumbled across a lady who edits for her own pleasure (I guess) and charges an agreeable amount. It's a proofread and should catch what I missed. That being said, not all edits are prefect and I'm going to need to go through it again.

I've also redone the cover and adjusted the title. I'm looking for legacy publishing more than self publishing, but it's always nice to have a cover just for the hell of it. The covers were made using "Canva", as my old software Corel Paintshop Pro, no longer works for some reason. Also, Canva is pretty easy. Here's a canva aff link so we both can earn points for premium content.  https://www.canva.com/join/vpx-jdw-ycq  hahahaha.

What's in a name?

I had no idea that each full moon had a name.  Tonight is the November full moon AKA Beaver moon. I will be hanging my jewelry (dangling from the windowsill) to recharge them. I do this monthly. I did miss last month as it was rainy. No moon power.  Here are the names for those interested.  I've heard a few of them before: Traditional Full Moon Names Wolf Moon – January Snow Moon – February Worm Moon – March Pink Moon – April Flower Moon – May Strawberry Moon – June Buck Moon – July Sturgeon Moon – August Harvest Moon – September or October Full Corn Moon (Harvest) – September Hunter's Moon (Harvest) – October Beaver Moon – November Cold Moon – December A week back, I took a photo showing a ring around the moon. It is meant to be good luck to see that (according to Japan) and for my birthday next month, I7m allowed to get a new MacBook Pro 13 inch! It works! I'll repost that image here for those who didn't see it in the original post.  I took this photo with Go...

Writing Software

They say writers need them or should use them. I've been using various forms of writing software since 2007. Before that I used MS Word. Wrote three novels and sold 50 short stories with just the word processor.  Times change. Now I use Scrivener and pretty much nothing else. Tho, I am old version. My old MacAir can't handle more then 2 GB memory. Can't upgrade. Stingy Apple. I still use it for writing. But, I am growing tired of old version of Scrivener and I have been looking around for other stuff.  (Image: Pexels.com Free stock images) I'll post my fav, a little later. First let's look at some software.  Technology changes at a fast pace--or is the updates at a fast pace? Either way, I've found some cool new ways to write, especially on the go.  The software I'll list is stuff I have used or purchased. No links. Sorry. If interested just highlight the software and right click search for... Works a charm. I could be like those Internet blogs that have aff...
